Shared working week

Five shared working days, with 8 or 9 shared hours in each.

Your weekend is our weekend, and your Sunday is a working day for us too. Only the clock moves: Egypt changes it twice a year, and you don’t.

9 ha day, 09:00 to 18:00 your time. 45 shared hours across the five-day week.

Computed from a 09:00 to 18:00 day in both places. Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait stay on UTC+3 all year; Egypt moves its clocks forward on the last Friday of April and back after the last Thursday of October. A 10:00 stand-up in your time works in both seasons.

By country

What changes by country: data, roles, cloud and payments.

Riyadh · Jeddah

Saudi Arabia

Where the data stays
The PDPL, enforced by SDAIA since September 2024, limits sending personal data outside the Kingdom, and our developers work from Egypt. Agree which of your environments they may reach before the first sprint.
Which roles we fill
Government entities and critical national infrastructure follow the NCA’s Essential Cybersecurity Controls, which reserve cybersecurity roles for qualified Saudi nationals. We add development, QA and DevOps engineers and leave those roles with your Saudi team.

Which data developers see
Qatar’s personal data law (Law No. 13 of 2016) asks for a clear purpose and secure storage. List the personal-data fields developers may see before access. Firms in the Qatar Financial Centre follow its own data rules.
Cloud access for QCB-regulated firms
Since April 2024, firms regulated by Qatar Central Bank follow its cloud regulation. Developers then work only in the cloud accounts, and under the controls, that your risk team approves.

Breach notice
If your company is licensed by CITRA, its Data Privacy Protection Regulation asks you to report a breach to CITRA within 24 hours. Write that deadline into the incident steps your developers follow from day one.
Payments in KWD
The dinar has three decimal places, and KNET sends the customer to its own page to pay. If your developers will touch checkout, put both in the role brief.

Software staff augmentation in Kuwait: from your brief to the first stand-up

For a company in Kuwait, staff augmentation adds developers to your own team without a local hiring round. We source candidates for your roles from the market, you interview them and choose who joins, and they work your Sunday to Thursday week from Alexandria, Egypt, inside your tools and sprints. HR and payroll stay with us.

  1. Your brief

Roles, stack, seniority and start date. Add Arabic, KNET checkout or three-decimal KWD amounts if the role touches them.

  2. Profiles

We source candidates from the market, and from our core team where one fits, and send each profile with our own assessment notes.

  3. Your interviews

You interview each candidate, can set a technical task and decide who joins. Nobody starts without your yes.

  4. First sprint

After the NDA and contract, they get named accounts in your tools and join your stand-ups and sprints on Kuwait time.

Your week and ours
Kuwait City and Alexandria both work Sunday to Thursday. 8 hours of your day are shared from late October to late April (10:00 to 18:00 Kuwait time), and all 9 from late April to late October, when the clocks match.
Arabic
Our core team are native Arabic speakers who work in English, so Arabic requirements, right-to-left screens and Arabic-speaking stakeholders need no go-between. When we recruit for you, Arabic goes into the brief if the role needs it.
Roles we fill most often
Pick a role to start your profiles request with it.

Apps we built for clients in Kuwait

FAQ

Office, hours, roles and what you sign.

Do you have an office in Saudi Arabia, Qatar or Kuwait?

No. You contract with Flojics Technology at Dubai Digital Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, and our core team works from Alexandria, Egypt. For developers we recruit for your contract, location is part of the brief.

Do your developers work our hours?

Yes. They work Sunday to Thursday, like Riyadh, Doha and Kuwait City. In Egyptian winter time Alexandria is one hour behind you, so 8 hours of your day are shared; from the last Friday of April to the last Thursday of October the clocks match. A 10:00 stand-up in your time works all year.

Which roles can you add for a Saudi, Qatari or Kuwaiti team?

Mobile, front-end and back-end developers, QA, DevOps, UI/UX designers with Arabic right-to-left experience, and delivery roles such as project managers and tech leads, mid-level to lead. Odoo roles are offered to companies in the UAE only.

What do we sign, and when is the code ours?

An NDA, a master agreement and a statement of work with Flojics Technology in Dubai, before anyone gets access. The code and intellectual property pass to your company at the end of the contract term or project, once it is completed and paid. The rate, currency and invoicing schedule are set in your proposal.

Can a company in Kuwait start with one or two developers?

Yes. Staff augmentation starts at one developer, with one monthly fee per developer and the rate set in your proposal. You interview and choose each person, and you can add people later or grow into a dedicated team.

For a team in Kuwait, how does a developer in Egypt compare with one in India?

Mostly on the working week. Kuwait and our Alexandria team both work Sunday to Thursday, so you share five days and 40 to 45 hours a week. India’s IT firms mostly work Monday to Friday, which leaves four shared days, about 26 hours a week. India can still fit when you need many engineers or a rare stack and the work is in English.

Tell us the roles you need and when your next sprint starts.

We source developers for your roles and set stand-ups and reviews around your Sunday to Thursday week. You choose who joins.
