Built for Kuwait

Two Kuwaiti apps, both live in the app stores.

One books beauty specialists to the client’s home, the other sends tips and donations by QR code. Both pair a customer app with the tools the business side needs.

Payments and data

KNET, CITRA and three-decimal dinars.

The Kuwait-specific details we plan for before design starts. This is a build checklist, not legal advice; checked 20 October 2026.

KNETCheckout.com (opens in a new tab)
Kuwait’s national debit network and the usual way people pay online. Payments are in KWD only, the customer is redirected to KNET to pay, and the merchant needs a contract with a local provider. We build the redirect, the return page and a server-side check of every payment result.
CITRA data privacy regulationAl Tamimi (opens in a new tab)
CITRA’s Data Privacy Protection Regulation (Decision No. 26 of 2024) applies to CITRA-licensed service providers. It asks for consent, security measures and breach notice to CITRA within 24 hours. Lawyers differ on how far beyond telecoms it reaches, so check with Kuwaiti counsel. We build consent screens, access logs and breach records so you can meet it if it applies.
KWD amounts
The Kuwaiti dinar has three decimal places (1,000 fils), so prices, splits and payouts need three-decimal maths and rounding rules agreed up front. Zidly’s team splits are an example.
Arabic and English
Our Arabic-native designers lay out both languages from the first wireframe, including right-to-left screens and mixed-language names and addresses.
FAQ

KNET, dinars, CITRA and our team.

Which apps have you built for Kuwait?

Spoiled, which books beauty specialists to the client’s home, and Zidly, which sends tips and donations by QR code. Both are live on the App Store and Google Play, and both show amounts in KWD.

Can you take payments through KNET?

Yes. KNET payments are in KWD only, the customer is redirected to KNET to pay, and the merchant needs a contract with a local provider. We build the redirect, the return page and a server-side check of every payment result.

Why do dinar amounts need extra care?

The Kuwaiti dinar has three decimal places (1,000 fils), so prices, splits and payouts need three-decimal maths and rounding rules agreed up front. Zidly’s team tips, split between members, are an example.

Does CITRA’s data privacy regulation apply to us?

It applies to CITRA-licensed service providers, and lawyers differ on how far beyond telecoms it reaches, so check with Kuwaiti counsel. We build consent screens, access logs and breach records so you can meet it if it does.

Do you build the business side as well as the customer app?

Yes. Spoiled has an admin dashboard for customers, providers, bookings and earnings. Zidly has a separate app where workers and beneficiaries receive tips and track their balance.

Where is your team, and do your hours match Kuwait?

Our core team of delivery leads, QA and engineers works from Dubai and Alexandria, Egypt. Alexandria has the same Sunday to Thursday week as Kuwait City, with no time difference in Egyptian summer time and one hour in winter. Developers we recruit for a client’s contract can be based where the role needs. We have no office in Kuwait.

Tell us about the app you want to launch in Kuwait.

A first call covers your users, the provider or staff side, and how KNET payments should flow.
