B2C E-commerce Solutions in Dubai: Website and App Development
E-commerce app development in Dubai for retailers and brands that sell to shoppers, with the website and the back office built together: shopping apps for iOS and Android and mobile-first online stores, with card, Apple Pay and cash-on-delivery checkout, an Arabic and English catalogue, and stock synced to Odoo or the ERP you run. We have built software for 100+ clients since 2014.
E-commerce app and website development, with the back office built in.
Customers shop in the app or on the website; your team runs products, stock, orders and payments behind them. Both sit on one back end, so a website can add an app later without a rebuild.
Storefront
- Shopping app and website
- iOS and Android apps and a mobile-first website, with catalogue, search, cart, saved addresses and order tracking.
- UAE checkout
- Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay through a gateway that settles in dirhams, plus cash on delivery with the limits you set.
- Arabic and English catalogue
- Product titles, sizes, filters and search in both languages, right to left for Arabic and checked by native Arabic speakers.
Back office
- Stock and your ERP
- One stock count for the app, the website, your branches and marketplace listings, synced with Odoo in the UAE or the ERP you run.
- Orders and delivery
- Each confirmed order creates the courier shipment; customers get tracking in their language and start returns from the order page.
- Admin and reports
- Products, prices, promotions and orders run by your team, with reports on what sells and where shoppers drop off.
B2C e-commerce in Dubai: what to plan before launch.
Shoppers in the UAE can split a payment with Tabby or Tamara, so plan pay-later next to cards and cash on delivery from the first release. VAT-registered sellers must show prices with the 5% VAT included, as the Federal Tax Authority requires, and the store issues a simplified tax invoice with each order; B2C sales stay outside the UAE e-invoicing system for now. If you also sell on Noon or Amazon, keep those orders and that stock in the system that runs your store. We have connected Odoo to both.

Quality is built into every step: CTO oversight on the architecture, independent QA before each release, and a dated plan in FloPlan, the delivery software we built and use ourselves.
- 01
Plan the first channel
App, website or both, the market you launch in, and one order mapped from browse to return, including a refused cash order and a refund. You get a written scope and a dated plan.
- 02
Design in both languages
Product, cart and checkout screens in Arabic and English, which you try on your own phone and approve before the build.
- 03
Build and connect
The store and its admin, then the payment gateway, the courier and your ERP, once we agree which system owns stock, prices and customers.
- 04
Independent QA
A QA engineer who doesn’t write the code tests on real phones in both languages, including an item selling out mid-checkout and a partial refund.
- 05
Launch and grow
We launch with you. Conversion, repeat orders and cash refusals then show whether the app, loyalty or a new market comes next.

App or website first?
Launch a mobile-first website when you are proving demand, or when search brings most of your buyers. Add an app when repeat buyers drive your sales, because saved baskets, loyalty points and push messages bring them back. Built on one back end, the app arrives later as a new front end, not a new store.

How much does e-commerce app development cost in Dubai?
Your price is agreed in your proposal, after discovery, and it follows the effort: the roles the store needs and the phases they carry it through. Most need a product owner, a designer, mobile and back-end developers and QA, with a CTO-level lead on the architecture. What moves the effort is app, website or both, the catalogue and its variants, Arabic and English, the payment methods, the courier and ERP connections, and whether other sellers list on your platform. Send us what you sell and what runs your stock, and we reply with an estimate of the effort, the team and the price.

Which payments can the checkout take in the UAE?
Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay through a payment gateway that settles in dirhams, and cash on delivery if your customers ask for it, with limits such as a maximum order value. Under Apple’s App Store rules, physical goods sold in an iPhone app are paid by card or Apple Pay, not in-app purchase, so the app and the website share one gateway account. If you ship to Saudi Arabia or Kuwait, we add mada or KNET.
Can the app and the website keep stock in sync with Odoo?
Yes, in the UAE, where we implement Odoo. Odoo holds one stock figure, and the app, the website and your marketplace listings work from it, so an item sold anywhere drops everywhere. Orders flow back into Odoo for picking, invoicing and VAT, and prices are set once. If Odoo already runs your stock and you need only a simple web store, its own e-commerce app may be enough, and we tell you so. Outside the UAE, we connect the store to the ERP you already run.

Can we sell on marketplaces as well?
Yes, on Noon and Amazon. Listings run on the same stock count as your app and website, so a marketplace order never sells an item your store has already sold, and every order lands in one place. Use them for reach, and give repeat buyers a reason to order from your own store.
Should we build a custom store, or use Shopify?
Use Shopify or another hosted store builder when it covers how you sell: it is the quicker start, and we say so. Go custom when your catalogue, pricing or checkout doesn’t fit a template, such as trade price lists, buyers making offers, bookings sold beside products, other sellers on your own marketplace, or stock and orders that must live in your ERP.
