About Sparx
Sparx is a medical platform that connects pharmacies with the people they serve. Users upload their prescriptions in the app, pharmacists review them and dispense the medication, and the order is placed and delivered online. The aim is to save patients time and cut down on trips to the pharmacy.
What did Flojics Technology do?
Flojics Technology built the Sparx mobile app for patients and a web sign-in for admins and pharmacists. The app takes a user from prescription upload to delivery, handles monthly refills for people on regular medication, and includes a consultation service run by pharmacies.
How it works
- Upload: the user uploads a prescription through the app.
- Review: a pharmacist checks it and prepares the medication.
- Order and delivery: the user confirms the order and a delivery address, and the medication is delivered.
- Monthly refill: patients on monthly or chronic medication resubmit the prescription each month for a faster refill.
Key Features
- Medication catalogue: the home screen groups products by treatment and lists medications, each with its own product page and a cart.
- Saved addresses: delivery addresses picked on a map and saved as home, office or other.
- Extras on refills: users add other medication or healthcare products to the same order when renewing a prescription.
- Pharmacy consultation: users describe their symptoms and pharmacies reply with over-the-counter suggestions or guidance.
- Pharmacy side: admins and pharmacists sign in on the web, and the platform helps pharmacies manage prescriptions, organise orders and stay in touch with customers.
