About Qargo
Qargo is a mobility platform for vehicle rental, ride-hailing and fleet management. Its tagline is “Your App, Your Journey”. Users can rent a car and drive it themselves, or ask for a nearby driver. Administrators and business partners run the operation from their own dashboards.
What did Flojics Technology do?
Flojics Technology built Qargo as four connected parts: a Self-Drive Rental app, a Driver app, an Admin Dashboard and a Partner Dashboard. We also led Qargo’s technical direction and architecture.
How it works
- Book: the user searches for cars nearby, picks one and sets the rental period.
- Unlock: once the booking is confirmed, the app creates a QR code. The user scans it at the car and the car unlocks.
- Photos before the trip: before driving off, the user takes photos of the car. The system records fuel level, mileage and general condition.
- Return and billing: at the end, the user takes final photos. The system works out the rental time and the bill, and compares the car’s condition before and after the trip.
For a car with a driver, the user requests a ride, the system finds available drivers nearby, a driver accepts in the Driver app, and the user follows the trip live.
Key Features
- Self Drive or Car With Driver: the home screen offers both, each with Book Now and Schedule buttons, plus car brands and popular cars to browse.
- Full car details: colour, body type, gearbox, fuel, engine size, doors, seats and CarPlay, with trip dates and a price breakdown before payment.
- Driver app: drivers accept trip requests and track their earnings, number of trips and time online, with a weekly earnings chart.
- Partner dashboard: business partners see each booking with its dates and revenue, the car’s location and distance driven, and the before and after photos. They can propose a fine, such as for an accident, and attach evidence.
- Payouts and fines: partners manage payouts, fines and their bank account from the same dashboard.
