Inck is an education platform that connects students with teachers. It works as a virtual classroom and also handles the communication, tracking and day-to-day management between teachers, students and educational institutions.

What did Flojics Technology do?

Flojics Technology built the Inck mobile app and web platform. Students book private lessons by subject and teacher availability, online or in person, and the platform also covers classes, assignments, badges and teacher hourly rates. On the web, a student dashboard shows the next session, the student’s teachers and their homework in one view.

Key Features

• Private lesson booking: students book lessons by subject, teacher availability and grade level, from elementary school to teenagers and older.
• Online or in person: each class is marked as online or at a physical location, and listed as approved, pending or past with its date, time and length.
• Rates up front: each teacher’s hourly rate is shown, and a review screen lists the teacher’s rating, the class, the time slot, the place and the price per session before the student confirms.
• Teacher messaging: students keep in touch with their teachers through in-app chat.
• Assignments and grades: homework with deadlines and statuses (in progress, finished, reviewed), notes from each teacher, a count of completed classes and an average grade.
• Badges and ratings: student profiles show earned badges and a rating.
• Mobile and web: a mobile app for students and teachers, plus a web dashboard with a link straight into the class room.
